General Subject Statement:

Religious and Cultural Studies seeks to take our students through the exploration and understanding of the main six religions of the world; Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, and Sikhism. This is achieved by looking at the history/origins of each faith, the rituals and festivals of the faiths, and how cultural differences within faith can change how we perceive them.  Our KS4 students have the opportunity to study for the Edexcel short course exam, and in future the AQA full course exam.
