What if?: Top Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What should I do if I get lost and can’t find my classroom?
A: Hopefully you will be able to find the right room by looking at the clear signs on the front of all our blocks. If you do get lost you should ask another student or staff member for help. You can also go to Reception or Inclusion for help
Q: What should I do if I am late to school?
A: If you are late to school you should sign in at student reception which is located behind the main reception. You will be given a late slip to give to your teacher
Q: What should I do if I am having problems with other students?
A: The first person you should talk to is your Tutor. They are the adult in the school who will get to know you best and should be able to help you. You can also talk to any of your teachers, Mrs. Cooper or go to Inclusion for further support
Q: What should I do if I find the work too hard?
A: You should talk to your class teacher. All of your teachers are here to support you with your learning and would prefer you to talk to them rather than struggle
Your Parent Support Advisor (PSA), Bradie Mee (a message for parents)
As a parent myself, I understand the demands that bringing up a family can have on our finances, time and energy. That is why I work to ensure that anyone who is entitled to the support offered by the Pupil Premium system is aware of it, and what the funding can be used for.
My background has always been in education, from pre-school up to secondary, including many years of pastoral support. I’m here to provide opportunities for parents and pupils to access the full benefits of the educational experience, and assist with any financial provisions available. I’m also available to provide emotional support for service family children. I enjoy getting to know the pupils and being part of our amazing support team.
