A Misty Start to Ten Tors 2020 Training

Ten Tors 2020 training started in earnest on Saturday with our hopeful participants for the Coombe Dean 35, 45 and 55 mile teams facing challenging conditions all day.

The photos illustrate the wet, misty conditions through which they had to successfully navigate around the North Moor. All teams did really well and will have learnt useful lessons about navigating safely in poor visibility and when not to cross rivers.

Thank you to Mrs Hodges for all her work helping the teams in school, to Mr Hodges who acts as our team manager, Mr Willis for being our on moor safety contact and to volunteers Mr Hall and Mr Blake who gave up their Saturday to get damp and tired with us all!
