On Wednesday 5th, Year 11 history students visited the Barnfield Theatre in Exeter for two very theatrical workshops, to help them prepare for their exam.
Students watched two hilarious and insightful plays: ‘The Doctors’ Show’ and ‘Queen Elizabeth I on trial’, where they had the chance to stretch their knowledge and extend their understanding of exam skills, with the help of a historian and examiner. Students were given four bespoke workbooks to help focus their history revision even further.
The sun even shone to allow us a glorious lunch break in the city centre, and the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local history around us. Now it’s time to put everything we learnt into action, Year 11, and ensure we’re utilising the revision resources at home, too.
