The Senate is an important opportunity for students to raise concerns through their own elected bodies. Students are elected onto the Year Senate through nominations and elections from within their Tutor Group.
Tutor Group Representatives are invited to Year Senate meetings each half-term to discuss issues that affect their Year Group. Each Year Senate then supplies two School Senate Representatives, who have been elected after giving presentations to their peers, about the reasons they should be on the Senate.
The School Senate comprises of two students from each Year Group, and meets regularly under the guidance of the Post 16 Team.
