Coronavirus and What to Do Once School Closes on Thursday 17th December

If your child develops symptoms of COVID19, you will need to call 119 to book a test.  Your child will need to isolate until the test result has come through to you.  If there is a positive test, the whole household will need to isolate.  If your child tests positive for COVID19 any time from leaving school on Thursday 17th December up until Saturday 19th December at 3pm, you will need to contact us via our dedicated email address:   The school will be asked to trace back to 48 hours before the test / or the child becoming symptomatic.  You will need to provide a contact telephone number so that we can contact you.  It would be really helpful if you were also able to provide a list of your child’s friends.

You can book a test online – you will be asked what school your child attends; please state Coombe Dean.  Public Health England will then get in contact with us and we can advise about contacts.

In addition, I would like to remind all that where a pupil or staff member tests positive for Covid, having developed symptoms more than 48 hours since being in school, the school should not be contacted. Parents and carers should follow contact tracing instructions provided by NHS Test and Trace.
