During half term, 28 Year 11 students undertook and successfully passed their Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award Expedition. Held on Dartmoor over three days and two nights, participants had to independently walk over 30 miles during the expedition. For once the weather was kind, if a little chilly at times, particularly the first night when we woke up to find our tents covered in ice!
Very well done to all who took part. Please now make sure that you finish off the rest of the award.
And finally, a big thank you to Mr Hughes and Mr & Mrs Gribble for giving up their time to help.
