Hände für Hamburg – Year 7 German

Students in Year 7 have recently followed in the footsteps of their peers in Year 8 by starting a writing exchange with students at a school in Hamburg, Germany.  They provided introductory information about themselves in German which has been sent in the form of hands to their new penpals in Hamburg and are currently eagerly expecting a response with information in English.

Year 8 students have most recently exchanged postcards with their penpals in which the German students described a class visit to London in English and the Coombe Dean students described their summer holiday in a postcard from the local area in German.  This term, their work will focus on describing Plymouth and the local area, the Hamburg students are preparing something about Hamburg.
