Covid-19 Tests

To protect both pupils and staff, it is important that anyone with symptoms of covid-19 (a fever, new continuous cough, or a loss or change to the sense of taste or smell) does not come into school.

If your child has been in school and then develops symptoms at home, please ensure that your entire household self-isolates and follows government advice. Please arrange for your child to have a covid-19 test using the link above. If the test result is positive, please follow the governments’ advice and inform us of the positive test result (email so that we can take the necessary action to protect others, using the principles of ‘test and trace’.

Update on Edu-care Provision

We will continue to provide an Edu-care provision, for vulnerable children and those of keyworkers, from 9.00am to 3.00pm for the remainder of the summer term. As we re-open to Years 10 and 12 we may have reduced capacity to staff this provision. Please only use it if you have absolutely no other alternative to keep your child(ren) safe. We may have to prioritise this provision to those children who need it most. Thank you for your co-operation with this. If you wish to book a place in our Edu-care provision please use the link below:

Thanks again for all your support as we work through the challenges that the pandemic continues to present.

Yours sincerely,

R Woodland
