The Year 7 End-of-Season Rugby Tournament

The Year 7 Rugby season culminated with a full day of games at the King George V playing field. It was a fantastic day of rugby, led by coaches from local premiership side, Exeter Chiefs.

Boys from five local schools were treated to some expert coaching, before playing a league style tournament – then a short break for lunch before more games.

It was a very typical British winters day, where temperatures rarely rose above five degrees. Our boys battled with the cold, and each other, in competitive, highly spirited matches.

It has been great seeing the development of these talented pupils, and such a wonderful finish to a promising first season for our Year 7 Team.

Now that the rugby season has drawn to a close for 2019, our Basketball and Football clubs are just beginning. Games are about to start, and new players are welcome at training sessions before teams are finalised.
