Hello and welcome to the Tutor page for 7BKD. This year I was a Year 11 Tutor, having had this tutor group since they joined in Year 7. It was an absolute pleasure working with them every day, helping them to grow as young people in all of the same ways I will hopefully help you all. I am really excited to be a Year 7 Tutor again and I am looking forward to meeting you all soon.
As your Tutor, it is my job to be your go to person for any problem or question that you may have. I will be there to greet you every morning, offering help and support in all aspects of Coombe Dean life to help you all have an excellent day!
During our tutor sessions, we will have fun getting to know each other and learning the best ways that I can support you to make the most of your time at Coombe Dean.
You will see from my photos that I love travelling and visiting new places – particularly if there is a good football team playing in that city! I am a very sociable person and I love going on long walks with my friends and family – these are the best times to hear new ideas, but also have some quiet time to reflect on things.

Welcome to the Year 7 students joining 7EPC tutor group. I am excited to welcome you and look forward to meeting you all soon.
My job as your tutor is to make sure you are supported and looked after during each school day. I am always here to answer questions you have and help you with any problems. Each school day begins with tutor time at 8:40am. I will be there to make sure you have a positive and happy start to your school day.
On my Tutor page are four pictures. Each tell you something about me. I can’t wait to get to know you all and find out about your hobbies and interests.
Tutor time is important to me as I am able to connect with my tutor group, hear about your achievements and successes, and find new ways in which I can support you. It also gives students time to inspire and encourage others.

Welcome to my 7GLM Tutor page.
I have been a teacher of food for 10 years, but I have only worked a few months at Coombe Dean, so I am pretty new here, too.
My job as your Tutor is to make you feel safe, comfortable and welcome. We begin our school day with tutor time at 8.40am. I will be there to welcome you and help you get the best start to your day with lots of fun activities.
I am looking forward to getting to know you individually. In the meantime, have a look at the four pictures at the top of my tutor page; each tells you something about me.
I have two children, a husband and a pug, and I have been described as a floral person as I love floral prints everywhere – on my clothes and in my house
When I am not at work, I am usually baking at home with my children, gardening, cycling, doing yoga or tending to my beautiful cut flower garden. I love making things, using all the skills I learnt during my design and technology degree, especially sewing and jewellery making.
My door is always open should you need me, and I really look forward to supporting you throughout your time at Coombe Dean School.

It will be my upmost priority to ensure that you are settled in and your transition from primary to secondary school is as smooth as possible. If you ask my students, they will tell you I am very caring and kind and will look after you as a member of my tutor group.
You will see a few pictures here that will give you some information about me and things I like.

I am Miss Miles, and I am an English teacher at Coombe Dean. I am really looking forward to meeting all my lovely new tutees.
The transition between primary and secondary school can be one of the biggest changes in a young person’s life, so many of you might be feeling nervous. However, I want you to know that I will be here every step of the way to help you feel comfortable and confident at Coombe Dean.
No question is a silly question, so come and talk to me about any worries you have, and I will do my best to put your mind at ease.
I like to think of my new tutor group as a team, and I will ensure that our tutor sessions will always be a safe place where you will feel supported and valued. I have loads of interests outside of teaching so don’t feel afraid to chat to me about any of your own hobbies!
Until then, have a look at my four pictures which tell you a little something about my life.
I look forward to meeting you!

Welcome to my 7LLB Tutor page. I am really looking forward to meeting every single one of you. Just like you, this is my first year at Coombe Dean, so we will be going through the transition of joining a new school together.
As your Tutor, I will see you every morning and be there to help start your day off in the best possible way. I will be there for you throughout the day and for you to feel that I am your ‘go to’ trusted teacher if you feel the need and want to share a concern or a problem.
As you can see at the top of my Tutor page, there are four different pictures; each one of them represents a different part of my life. One of the main reasons why I love being a tutor is to get to know my tutees, for you to get to know me, for us all to have a great relationship and be our own 7LLB family.
I look forward to meeting you all and seeing you all develop as individuals in your secondary school journey.
