Y10 students recently enjoyed an inspiring and educational trip to the University of Plymouth.

Our Year 10 students recently enjoyed an inspiring and educational trip to the University of Plymouth. During their visit, students had the opportunity to tour the university campus, explore a variety of academic departments, and learn about the wide range of subjects available at higher education level. They also visited a showroom of student accommodation, giving them a glimpse of what university life might look like in the future.

One of the highlights of the day was a captivating Chemistry lecture delivered by Dr Roy Lowry, who presented an exciting session on pyrotechnics. The live demonstrations and engaging explanations brought science to life and left a lasting impression on all who attended.

Throughout the day, our students conducted themselves with maturity, curiosity, and enthusiasm. They were a credit to themselves and excellent representatives of Coombe Dean School. Well done to all involved!
