Enrichment week 2026
Curriculum Enrichment Week
13th —17th July 2026
At Coombe Dean, Curriculum Enrichment Week is a highlight of the year for students in Years 7–9. It gives them the chance to step outside the classroom, try new experiences, and build confidence.
The week is closely linked to the Coombe Dean Commitment and our ambition to help every student “climb their mountain.” Whether exploring new places, developing skills, or uncovering hidden talents, students come away with memories and lessons that will stay with them for life.
This is an exciting week where the curriculum is enriched by providing students with activities that cannot normally take place in an average day. Please click on the booklet below to learn more about the exciting opportunities on offer.
The cost of each activity is shown, and we are legally required to cover these by voluntary contributions. However, if you decide not to contribute, we may not be able to run the activity since we have no alternative sources of funding. Please note that deposits are non-refundable, so make sure your son/daughter selects his/her activity carefully. Deposits will also guarantee your son/daughter’s place on their allocated activity.
At the front of the booklet, you will find some handy hints and tips and I would be grateful if you could read these before your son/daughter makes his/her final choice.
Do not hesitate to contact me, or the member of staff who is organising the activity if you need further information.
Happy reading!
