On Friday 5th September, Coombe Dean School was pleased to welcome our new Year 7 students for their Induction Day. The day marked an important milestone as students began their journey with us, and it was encouraging to see them engaging positively with staff and each other. We also had a number of new joiners in older years, who we are excited to be welcoming to our Coombe Dean family.

Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to meet a range of staff members and take part in activities designed to help them feel more confident and comfortable in their new environment. Many left with smiles on their faces, and staff commented on how well the cohort responded to the day.

We’re looking forward to seeing them full-time from Monday and are already seeing signs that they’re settling in well. This is thanks to the thoughtful planning and support provided by staff across the school.
