It was a real pleasure to meet students joining us from other schools, alongside many current Coombe Dean Year 11 students who are choosing to continue their education with us.

Throughout the day, students experienced life as a member of our Post-16 community. They attended subject taster lessons, completed independent study, took part in tutor activities and experienced the greater independence that comes with sixth form study. Just as importantly, they spent time getting to know one another and meeting current students, who did a fantastic job of making everyone feel welcome. We hope the day gave students a genuine insight into what Post-16 life at Coombe Dean is all about, and it was wonderful to see so many embracing the experience with enthusiasm.
