Y10 Art Students Visited St. Ives

Y10 Art students had the chance to go to St. Ives to get inspiration for their GCSE coursework.

47 Year 10 artists went to St. Ives to make a visit to Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth sculpture garden. During the visit, they were encouraged to take photos and do some sketching at each of the sites. These would be useful for the next phase of their coursework. Those attending found the visit inspiring and many were able to produce quality drawings of the sculptures in a beautiful garden and artwork at a museum right by the sea.
