School PE Kit

The PE Department operates according to the “Safe Practice in Physical Education and School Sport” published by the Association for Physical Education. Therefore, students will be required to remove all jewellery, tie hair back during lessons, tuck in shirts and tie shoelaces tightly. In the event of kit being misplaced, students will be expected to take full participation within lessons whilst wearing kit from the departmental kit store. Refusal to wear the spare kit will be dealt with in accordance with the behaviour policy. The PE department operates a no note policy, so whereby injury or illness that would hinder participation has occurred, the student will be supported to engage in the lesson in other ways. Students are always expected to bring their kit so they are appropriately dressed for the facility that they are in, as they must always remain with the member of staff.
