Celebrating Community Language GCSE Success

Eleven Year 11 students completed their community Language GCSE exam at the end of Year 10 and they all passed!

We are delighted to celebrate the success of eleven Year 11 students who completed their community Language GCSE exam at the end of Year 10, achieving an outstanding set of results with a 100% pass rate.

To recognise this impressive achievement, Mrs Granville (Headteacher) met with the students on Friday for a celebratory breakfast, where they reflected on their success and discussed their future language learning and career aspirations. It was wonderful to hear how proud they are of their linguistic heritage and how many are keen to continue studying languages as part of their future pathways.

Students achieved qualifications across a remarkable range of languages, including Chinese, French, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Turkish, highlighting the rich diversity within our school community and the exceptional commitment shown by students and families in maintaining and developing home languages alongside their mainstream studies.

We are incredibly proud of these students. Their success not only represents academic excellence but also celebrates the cultural richness that strengthens our school community. Congratulations to all involved on this fantastic achievement.
