We are proud to celebrate the publication of the 2025 validated Post-16 outcomes, which confirm that Coombe Dean School was the top performing school in Plymouth for student progress at Post-16 in 2025.
The 2025 data places Coombe Dean in the ‘above average’ category nationally for progress. This means our students made significantly strong progress from their starting points when compared with similar students across England. It reflects the quality of teaching across our A Level and Level 3 courses, the strength of our academic mentoring and progress tracking, and the ambition that defines our Sixth Form culture.
Most importantly, this success is testament to the hard work, resilience and determination of our students, supported by dedicated staff and strong partnerships with families.
