Coombe Dean Celebrates 2025 Year 11 Success
Coombe Dean School is delighted to share the outstanding success of our 2025 Year 11 cohort following the publication of the 2025 validated outcomes.
Just before the half‑term break, we received a letter from the Secretary of State for Education recognising the exceptional outcomes achieved by our students last summer.
In the letter, the Secretary of State wrote:
“Congratulations to you and your team on the excellent outcomes the disadvantaged pupils at your school achieved at the end of the 2024/25 academic year. Your school’s performance places it among the very best nationally, and this is a significant achievement.”
This national recognition is something our whole community can be incredibly proud of. Across all key headline measures, Coombe Dean achieved results above the national average. The full performance data can be viewed on the Department for Education’s performance tables here:

These outcomes reflect the hard work, resilience, and determination shown by our young people. They also highlight the dedication and expertise of our staff, as well as the unwavering support from parents and carers. At Coombe Dean, success is never accidental, it is the product of a school community that works relentlessly to ensure every student can thrive.
We are committed to providing all our young people with a broad and rich curriculum that opens as many doors as possible for their futures. This ethos underpins everything we do, and last year’s results show the impact of that commitment.
Looking Ahead: Supporting our 2026 cohort
As our current Year 11s move towards their upcoming summer examinations, we will once again be offering a range of opportunities to help them make the most of their time in front of expert teachers. These sessions and events are designed to support students’ revision, boost confidence, and ensure they feel fully prepared for the exam season.
