Coombe Dean School Students Celebrate GCSE Success

GCSE Results Day!
Students at Coombe Dean School are celebrating their GCSE results today after years of hard work, resilience, and commitment to learning. There was excitement across the school as students received their results and prepared for the next stage in their education or training.
The school opened its doors early this morning to welcome students and their families, creating a warm and supportive atmosphere filled with pride and celebration.
Headteacher Caroline Granville shared her congratulations:
“We are incredibly proud of all our Year 11 students. These results are a reflection of their hard work, the dedication of our staff, and the support of our families and community. We are thrilled to see so many of our students achieving personal success and moving confidently toward their future goals.”
Among the many success stories, several students achieved exceptional results in the top grades (7–9):

- Szymon – 2 Grade 9s, 6 Grade 8s, and 2 Grade 7s
- Rahul – 1 Grade 9, 7 Grade 8s, and 1 Grade 7
- Caitlin – 3 Grade 9s, 5 Grade 8s, and 2 Grade 6s
- Rares – 3 Grade 9s, 3 Grade 8s, 3 Grade 7s, and a Distinction in Business
- Olivia – 3 Grade 9s, 5 Grade 8s, and 1 Grade 7
- Pola – 1 Grade 9, 6 Grade 8s, 3 Grade 7s, and a Distinction* in iMedia
- Kacper – 1 Grade 9, 7 Grade 8s, and 2 Grade 7s
- Oscar – 3 Grade 9s and 4 Grade 8s
- Roma – 4 Grade 8s, 3 Grade 7s, and a Distinction* in Business
Many students have secured places at Coombe Dean’s Sixth Form, while others are moving on to apprenticeships and college courses.
