As part of our Coombe Dean Commitment, we remain dedicated to supporting every student on their journey beyond the classroom. A key part of this pledge is providing enriching experiences that broaden horizons, build confidence, and create lasting memories. We are therefore delighted to continue offering students opportunities to attend live sporting fixtures beyond Plymouth.

Last weekend, a group of students had the exciting opportunity to attend a Premier Women’s Rugby match, watching Exeter Chiefs Women take on Saracens. The fast-paced and highly competitive game showcased the very best of women’s rugby, with Saracens ultimately claiming a 24–14 victory.

The experience went far beyond the match itself. Students thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and were especially thrilled to meet and collect autographs from several elite players, including members of the England Women’s Rugby World Cup–winning squad: Marlie Packer, Rosie Galligan, Hannah Botterman, Emily Scarratt, and Mo Hunt. It was an unforgettable experience and a fantastic source of inspiration for all who attended.
