In the early hours of 19 December 2025, a select group of 20 students from Years 10–13 embarked on an extraordinary journey to the very heart of British politics. Accompanied by Mr Jenkins, Mrs Granville, Mr Jacks, and Mrs Stapleton, the group departed at 4 a.m. for a once-in-a-lifetime visit to 10 Downing Street.

This rare and prestigious opportunity allowed students to step inside one of the most recognisable addresses in the world, enjoying an exclusive guided tour of Number 10 itself. The experience was further enriched with time exploring London, making the day both inspiring and memorable. For many of our students this was their first visit to London! 

Although long, the day was truly unforgettable – an experience few can claim and one that will stay with our students for years to come. They were a credit to Coombe Dean School and represented themselves brilliantly on the day.  Our sincere thanks go to the staff whose dedication and hard work made this opportunity possible.
