On Wednesday, 17th December, some of our WE Care group students gathered at school for a wonderful Christmas lunch. This special group is made up of students who are young carers and those who have experienced bereavement, and it provides a safe and supportive space for them to connect with others who understand their unique challenges.

The lunch was a chance for those attending to relax, share festive cheer, and enjoy time together in a caring environment. Students loved the Christmas cracker jokes, which brought plenty of laughter, and they appreciated having time to be with one another again before we go off on holiday.

Events like this are an important reminder of the strength and resilience within our school community. We are proud of the compassion and support shown by everyone involved.
