World Cheese Day Cheese Tasting

Our canteen gave students an opportunity to taste different types of cheese from around the world on World Cheese Day.

On 4 June, in celebration of World Cheese Day, our school canteen introduced several different types of cheese for our students and staff to try! Students and staff were invited to sample a variety of cheeses from around the world. Alongside the ever-popular mature cheddar, the selection included traditional hand-turned farmhouse cheddar, the smoky richness of Smoked Applewood, nutty Swiss Emmental, creamy French Brie, and the bold flavours of Stilton – known as the 'King of English Cheeses'.

It was wonderful to see our students enthusiastically trying the different cheeses and engaging with the bite-sized facts displayed next to each one. The event not only offered a fun and tasty experience during break time but also gave everyone a chance to learn more about the rich history and variety of cheeses from different cultures.
