Worried about a child?

Call 999 if the child is in real danger now.

If you are worried about a child or young person, or think they are being abused, even if you are unsure, please contact the Families First Team on 01752 668000 or email familiesfirst@plymouth.gov.uk.  

They are available:

  • 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday
  • 9am to 5pm Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays

You can also contact the NSPCC Helpline on 0808 800 5000.

The NSPCC have launched a dedicated helpline for children and young people who have experienced sexual harassment, assault or abuse at school, and for worried adults and professionals that need support and guidance, including for historic abuse:
